“You’re finally open?” A common question from the many locals who have stopped by to check out what we’ve done with the giant ugly pink building that was once a furniture store, stamp shop, sporting goods retailer and even a coffee shop. Happily, we can report most of you have been thrilled to discover The Abandoned Pink Palace is now NW Denver’s premium doggy daycare and boarding facility called The Sniff Shack.
We’ve had friends from the Mountain View, Highlands, LoHi, Wheat Ridge, Arvada, Berkeley and Sunnyside neighborhoods come in to check out our place, including police officers, bakers, lawyers, even the Mountain View Mayor! The support we have gotten has been incredible. You’ve probably seen us around town at fairs, festivals and the Berkeley dog park reaching out to dog lovers and letting them know that we’re open and rocking! We’ve handed out tennis balls, flyers, coffee and this week we hit 15,000 of our friend’s doors with some seriously good coupons and free offers.
We have a few ‘regulars’ already, like a couple of cute dobies named Kita and Bruno, our fun-loving lab mix Sherman, the serious intellectual Suki, and our spunky-puppy-husky Demona!
Even though it took us a while to get things started, we are proud to say that we are ready and excited to meet all the new daycare and boarding dogs of NW Denver! Don’t forget to like us on Facebook for coupons and free giveaways, and remember to make your holiday reservations ASAP as we are almost full for Thanksgiving and getting busy during Christmas and New Year!!
